Description

A modern loose-fit embroidered linen shirt, designed in a men’s cut. The embroidery pattern is characteristic of the ethnographic region of Slobozhanshchyna (Sumy, Kharkiv, and Luhansk regions) and is executed in cross-stitch using red and deep navy threads, giving it an authentic traditional appearance. The embroidered stripes along all seams and sleeves alternate between red and blue, replicating ancient Ukrainian joining techniques known as "zmerezhuvannya", symbolizing love and respect for Ukrainian heritage. This is how embroidery was traditionally done in Slobozhanshchyna.
