Description
A sash-belt for an elegant ethnic wedding ensemble, embroidered in classic red in the style of Krolevets towels. This modern accessory perfectly complements a refined wedding dress as a symbol of respect for Ukrainian traditions. In the past, woven Krolevets towels were used to tie the bride’s waist as a sign of purity and the beginning of a new family line. Such traditions were common throughout central Ukraine and the Left Bank region, particularly in Slobozhanshchyna.
The belt can be purchased as part of a wedding outfit or separately.
