Description
A sash-belt for an elegant ethnic wedding outfit, embroidered in white-on-white. This contemporary accessory complements a refined wedding dress as a tribute to Ukrainian traditions. In the past, brides were girded with woven Krolevets towels as a symbol of purity and the beginning of a new family line. Such traditions were widespread in central Ukraine and throughout the Left Bank region, particularly in Slobozhanshchyna.
This belt can be purchased as part of a wedding ensemble or separately.
