Embroidered Wedding Dress "Darina"

Elegant white wedding dress of author's design inspired by Ukrainian traditions. The outfit consists of a basic strappy dress and a sheer embroidered cape with a white-on-white embroidered belt. The dress is decorated with embroidery inspired by the ornaments of Krolevets towels. Since ancient times, the bride was tied with a wedding towel as a sign of purity and innocence. Traditionally, a wedding towel featured the image of a family tree. Such a tradition was characteristic of the central regions of Ukraine and the Left Bank.

The dress has a decorative embroidered belt that reminds us of ancient traditions. The embroidery ornament consists of geometric and stylized plant motifs. The family tree symbolizes the strength of family ties, and the two birds represent eternal love and the preservation of the family. The dress is a luxurious and sophisticated outfit for weddings and ceremonies as a sign of respect for tradition.
